Primitive Baptist Hymns In
RealAudio format
"O sing praises unto the LORD"
(Psalm 68:32)
As Primitive Baptists ( commonly
called Old Baptists ) we sing congregational style without instrumental
accompaniment. Our faith only holds strongly to the principles set
by the apostles during the days of the early church. We have a reputation
for this style of singing that we have grown to love and embrace.
I have tried to present here in RealAudio some of those hymns which we
sing. If you wish to learn more about how we worship as Primitive
Baptists please visit Primitive
Baptist Online. I hope you enjoy listening to these as much as
I did recording them. If there is a hymns you wish to see here in
the future please send me a request
and I will try my best to get it on here as soon as Possible.
Thanks and God Bless You.
Note: The voices and/or
sound of the songs may vary as they were recorded using different congregations.
TRADITIONAL HYMNS
AMAZING
GRACE
The hymn of all hymns, it is sad how this
tune is not heard as much as it should be.
Let us never forget the sad, fallen, wretched,
hell-ridden state we were in before Jesus Christ redeemed us with his blood
on Calvary.
